Jane De Leon’s Darna has not reached the TV rating success compared to its predecessor, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Throughout its run, the action-fantasy series earned 6.9% as of November 5, as per AGB NIELSEN PHILS. NUTAM People in TV Homes ratings.
However, ABS-CBN’s reach in digital TV remains limited after the Network’s shutdown in 2020.
Darna also reached the daily average of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano‘s concurrent views on YouTube, with the most recent reports confirming 300,000 views.
Notably, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano finale reached over 500,000 concurrent views on the Kapamilya Online Live YouTube channel.
With the latest storyline, a new antagonist enters the picture, with Enchong Dee taking on the role of the Levitator.
Although Benitez confirmed the season-ender, Darna is far from its series finale. Rumors also surfaced that Darna would return for its second season with a new timeslot.
