The success of the Star Cinema-Viva Films produced movie was confirmed by Star Cinema’s Roxy Liquigan and Mico del Rosario with announcement via Twitter on Sunday, March 31. The movie which is a joint venture of Star Cinema and Viva Films is on it’s way to the all-time highest grossing local movie because of their first day gross success.
The third and said to be final installment of the romantic comedy which centered on the life of Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro surpassed the records of the prequel, “A Very Special Love” and “You Changed My Life,” which raked P14M and P18M respectively.
The Cathy Garcia-Molina directed film is a little short by about 8 million pesos for the earnings of “Sisterakas” which earned P40.7 million on its first day in theaters.
