On October 27, actress Yassi Pressman congratulated Coco Martin and the cast of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ (FPJBQ).

At the media conference for ‘Black Rider,’ which LionhearTV covered, Pressman noted how much she would love to meet her ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ (FPJAP) co-star in the future to let him know how she appreciates Martin’s current action series.

“Hindi pa po, sayang nga po nagkasalisi po kami doon kay Senator Robin eh, pero tinanong niya po ako tapos pagdating ko po doon, tinanong ko naman po siya. Kapag nakita ko po siya, ico-congratulate ko po siya napakaganda ng ‘Batang Quiapo.’ Simula day one, hanggang ngayon, napakagaling. Galing po.”

Pressman worked on the longest-running Kapamilya action series as Martin’s longest on-screen partner, Alyanna.

As for FPJBQ, the series held a weekly average rating of 15.7 percent from October 16 to 22.

As for her current role in ‘Black Rider,’ Pressman remarked that she appreciated GMA Network’s welcome, recounting her early years as a Kapuso star.

“You don’t forget the places na kung saan ka galing di ba? And naalala ko po noong pumupunta po ako dito, 14 years old pa lang po ako, and nagkakilala po kami ni Ruru, na nagkakatrabaho po kami, and gusto ko po talagang maging dancer lang.

“Hindi ko po inakalang dadating po ‘yung mga pagkakataon na mabibigyan din po ako ng pagkakataon na maging artista, at na maging leading lady. And, I’m very, very grateful and very, very excited to be sitting here with you again.”

‘Black Rider’ stars Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman, Katrina Halili, Matteo Guidicelli, and Jon Lucas.

The cast also features all-star actors, such as Raymond Bagatsing, Gladys Reyes, Raymart Santiago, Zoren Legaspi, Gary Estrada, Rio Locsin, Roi Vinzon, Monsour del Rosario, Maureen Larazabal, Aleck Bovick, Isko Moreno, and Simon Ibarra.

Joining them are Jayson Gainza, Janus del Prado, Empoy Marquez, Rainier Castillo, Prince Clemente, Luis Hontiveros, Vance Larena, Kim Perez, Almira Muhlach, Saviour Ramos, Bodjie Pascua, Marco Masa, Ashley Sarmiento, Tito Vince, Whamos Cruz, Kylie Padilla, Carla Abellana, Salome Salvi, Turing, Pipay, Shanti Dope, Joaquin Domagoso, Joem Bascon, Analyn Barro, Mariel Pamintuan, Arra San Agustin, and Ashley Rivera.

As for ‘Black Rider,’ the upcoming Kapuso series, under the direction of Rommel Panesa and Richard Arellano, airs on GMA Network starting November 6.
