SM Mall of Asia was filled with so much excitement on February 26 as TNT had held its first TNT Tropa Challenge.
Launched in September 2016, the TNT Tropa Challenge was attended by ‘tropas’ of five members, ages 13 to 19 years old. It was composed of online task that would showcase their creativity, talent, teamwork and unity.
Out of hundreds of participants, only five teams advanced to the grand finals day which was held at SM MoA Music Hall.
These five participants from different schools in the Philippines eventually competed in activities that tested their physical and mental ability.
But before the actual announcement of winner, Kapamilya stars have had surprised the fans with their pleasurable performances.
Actress Sue Ramirez graced that stage as she performed mainstream songs. She also invited some audience to sing and dance with her on stage.
She was then followed by actor JC Santos who surprised his fans with his new hairdo. He performed classic OPM hits as he was interacting with the crowd.
Next was Hashtag who made the fans wild as they appeared on stage. Fans were screaming loudly as each Hashtag member showed how they move.
Finally, the moment had come for TNT Tropa Challenge finalists after the memorable performances from the Kapamilya talents.
After all, it was the Tropang 98 UCU NL that claimed the victory. The group finished the final obstacle in a span of 6 minutes and 6 seconds. Close to their triumph was the Tropang Thuggerz that finished in 6 minutes and 50 seconds mark. The first runner-up team then took home P200 thousand.
Furthermore, Rocksteddy performed in front of the celebrating crowd to close the show.
