The Saturday edition of “It’s Showtime” drowned its rival show “Eat Bulaga” in the TV rating game.
The presence of senators Manny Pacquiao, Gringo Honasan, Sonny Angara and JV Ejercito on Jackpot en Poy segment of “Eat Bulaga” didn’t help the show get a decent rating.
According to Kantar Media, “It’s Showtime” recorded 18.9% last March 25, beating “Eat Bulaga’s” 13.4%.
The Grand Finals of Dancing in Tandem made “Eat Bulaga” irrelevant once again. Maribel Rilo and Aldrin Ocol took home P100,000 as their prize.
Even without the unkobogable Vice Ganda, “It’s Showtime” also dominated the social media. The official hashtag for Saturday, #ShowtimeTandemSaKsiyahan, became a trending topic on Twitter, leaving “Eat Bulaga” in the dust.
To add more spice to the flavorful show, Kapamilya star Angel Locsin returned as a special host while Vice Ganda is slaying in America.
Meanwhile, AGB Nielsen has not yet released its full data since March 13.
