Award-winning actress Janine Gutierrez has reaffirmed her commitment to ABS-CBN after renewing her network contract and officially signing an exclusive management contract with Star Magic, the country’s premier talent management agency.
“I’m grateful to be a Kapamilya, dahil ramdam na ramdam ko talaga yung support and the love of our bosses, our Kapamilya staff, and all our Kapamilyas at home and abroad. It just means so much to me to be part of something greater than myself, and that’s something truly in the service of the Filipino whether it could be through our TV shows, news, through our charity and foundation,” said Janine.
For Janine, officially becoming part of Star Magic is a dream come true and another milestone in her career as she looks forward to growing as an artist and exploring new opportunities under the guidance of the talent management agency.
“I want to continue to keep on growing, to learn more, and to get more opportunities na alam ko talagang ’yun ’yung forte ng Star Magic through years of experience,” she shared.
Janine also expressed her gratitude to her Star Magic family, especially Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi, for the warm welcome and support she has received.
The contract signing was attended by ABS-CBN Chairman Mark Lopez, ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Group CFO Rick Tan, ABS-CBN Head of Entertainment Production and Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi, Star Magic Senior Talent Manager and Head of Star Magic Marketing Alan Real, and her co-manager, Pinky Angudong.
Following her memorable performance in the hit series “Lavender Fields,” Janine is set to reunite with Jericho Rosales in the upcoming Star Creatives and Prime Video collaboration series, “The Loyalty Game,” premiering this July.
“I really look forward sa magiging reaction ng mga Kapamilya natin dun sa next role ko as Anna sa ‘The Loyalty Game.’ Akala ko kasi nung una simple lang yung role pero yun pala sobrang layered nung character ni Anna. I’m so excited kasi with Jericho again pero ibang dynamic naman, malayong-malayo sa ‘Lavender Fields,'” she said.
Beyond her upcoming projects, Janine hopes to be part of more Filipino shows and films that can reach audiences around the world.
“I wish to be part of Filipino projects that would be seen outside the country. I think it’s inspiring to see how we will be looked at by people around the world,” she added.
