A month before the celebration, something unexpected happened during GoodZone’s initial weigh-in in Helping Land, Tondo. In between being measured and assessed, the children were already re-enacting scenes as Lira and Agnem from Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre. The GoodZone team captured the moment and shared it with Mikoy Morales, who plays Agnem. Moved by what he saw, Mikoy personally reached out to Mikee Quintos, who plays Lira, to come and personally thank the children for their love and support. And on June 10, 2026 — they showed up.
It was not just a weigh-in. It was a celebration. On June 10, 2026, GoodZone hosted its first ever Weigh-In Party at the Project PEARLS community center in Helping Land, Tondo, a milestone event that brought together 200 children, their families, the GoodZone team, DigiPlus Foundation, Project PEARLS and its founder, and two beloved Filipino personalities who showed up for the kids when it mattered most.
Mikee Quintos and Mikoy Morales, GoodZone Champs, were present throughout the entire day joining the feeding, cheering for the children during the Healthy or Not Healthy activity, and personally handing out gifts to every child in the program. Their presence reminded every child in that room that kindness is real and that the world is rooting for them.
The highlight of the day was the Weigh-In Celebration, a graduation-style moment led by licensed nutritionist-dietitian Coach Joanne Cruz-Baill, RND, where each child’s name was
called one by one and their weight progress was announced to the entire community. The room erupted in cheers for every single child. Because in GoodZone, every gram gained is a victory worth celebrating.
Children who showed the most significant improvements in weight and nutrition over the past four weeks received certificates of recognition, a formal acknowledgment of their growth and resilience. Every child also went home with food packs, school supplies, and a brand new pair of slippers. Simple things. But for families in Helping Land, they meant everything.
“Every child in this program has been showing up, eating well, and growing stronger every single week,” said the GoodZone team. “Today was our way of saying — we see you. We are proud of you. And we are not stopping.”

Four weeks in, and what GoodZone has built goes far beyond a feeding program. It is a community of people who believe that these children deserve more than a meal. They deserve opportunity, love, and the chance to grow up knowing that the world is rooting for them. The support that has poured in from people who simply wanted to be part of what GoodZone is doing has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Parents have shared how their families are living differently now. How the worry of wondering if their children will eat today has been replaced with something that feels like relief and hope. There is still a long way to go. But right now, GoodZone wants to celebrate every person who has shown up, believed in this mission, and helped make it real. Because at the end of the day, these are just kids who need love, support, and someone to show up for them. And that is exactly what GoodZone will keep doing.
