Controversial ‘X-factor’ finalist Kedebon Colim goes home!

“The X Factor Philippines” judge-mentor Martin Nievera ended the ‘x factor’ dream of his very own mentee Kedebon Colim as he was the third judge who voted to send him home during results night last Sunday (Sep 16).

He said that if there will be any judge among the four who should send Kedebon home, it should be him. “To all those who bash Kedebon, shame on you. Here’s my hero, Kedebon,” said Martin while trying his best to control his emotions.

It was the first time for Kedebon to figure in the bottom two since making it to the final 12 and he was the object of bashing in social media sites because netizens think there were talented contestants who were more deserving. Despite the hate campaign online, Kedebon remained unfazed, took the negative criticisms well, and continued his journey. He is the first mentee of Martin to be eliminated.

Now, only five finalists will advance to the next round— Jeric Medina and Gabriel Maturan from Martin’s Boys; Allen Sta. Maria and KZ Tandingan from Charice’s Girls; and Daddy’s Home from Gary’s Groups.

What challenges await them this week? Who will go home and who will continue their course to becoming the next multimedia superstar? Be sure to save your favorites from being in the bottom two by voting for them this Saturday night (Sept 22). Vote after their performances by texting XFJERIC/GAB/ALLEN/KZ/DAD and send it to 2331 for Globe and Sun subscribers and 231 for Smart and Talk ‘n Text subscribers.

Watch as the competition get even tougher in the country’s biggest and grandest musical event of the year, “The X Factor Philippines,” with KC Concepcion as host, every Saturday, after “MMK,” and every Sunday, after “Sarah G Live” on ABS-CBN.
