MCA Music welcomes Red Horse Beer Muziklaban grand champion, A Music Theory to its growing variety of local roster consisting of Urbandub, Pupil, Franco, Chicosci, Tanya Markova, Pedicab, NyoyVolante, Sabrina, Krissy& Ericka, SolennHeussaff, Loonie and Ron Henley among others; MCA Music is also home to the biggest international acts like Taylor Swift, U2, Snow Patrol, Keane, Justin Bieber, Lady GaGa, Demi Lovato, Paul McCartney, Lionel Richie, Gotye, Rihanna, Sting, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Jessie J, Maroon 5, The Wanted, PSY and many more.
The band is composed of Cholo on vocals, JC on guitars, Lorce on bass and John Jo on drums. Now they formally signed a record deal and artist management contract with MCA Music headed by its president Ricky R. Ilacad and witnessed by other executives, Wilson Cruz (marketing and sales director), Kiko Guevarra (A & R manager), Sammy Samaniego (Artists Manager) and Mark Bonifacio (OPM label manager).
The band started building its foundation when they stepped on their college years in De La Salle Univeristy-Manila, from school projects they decided to commit the group into the next level. Then past October 24, 2008, the band’s name, A Music Theory was born at JNJ Studio in Malate.
Gig after gigs, they came to attempts of joining the Red Horse Muziklaban. Determined as they were, they never even got through the eliminations on their past three tries until they were held winners of Cainta Rizal area this 2012. Making it through the General Manila Area Semi-finals of Red Horse BeerMuziklabanin Mall of Asia, served as their ultimate hope of winning the 2012 competition. It was four years of hard work and perseverance before they were titled champions.
Now that they have risen as the grand champions of Red Horse Beer Muziklaban 2012 and a newly signed artist with the number 1 music company in the Philippines, MCA Music,it will be enthralling to watch the band’s take on their music and see what they can offer to the public as they set on a new journey as a group.
