After months of speculation, it’s confirmed! Anne Curtis was announced last Thursday to play the TV version of “Dyesebel” at the ABS-CBN’s 14th floor where many presscons and story conferences have been held. Joining Anne as her leading men are Sam Milby and Gerald Anderson.
Based on the teaser ‘DYESEBEL : Ang Simula ng Pagbabalik‘ shown during the launch, part of the video are the other two iconic characters, next in line to “Dyesebel” are “Darna” and “Captain Barbell.” Though it’s already confirmed that Angel Locsin will be playing “Darna,” not on TV but in a Star Cinema movie this year, it’s still great to see Angel Locsin in a grand launch and I know, that will be the grandest for Star Cinema this year. We hope. Angel has already played “Darna” on television in 2005. The most recent TV incarnation of “Darna” is actress Marian Rivera, who appeared in a 2009 series by GMA Network.
For now, we will be seeing Angel as Monica in “The Legal Wife” starting Jnauary 27 on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida!
