GMA Network’s Christmas musical drama special “Himig ng Pasko,” which will air for two consecutive Saturdays this December, will be led by Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid together with another Kapuso homegrown artist Julie Ann San Jose. “Himig ng Pasko” will also serve as reunion project with award-winning actor Ariel Rivera who last worked together in the Telebabad series “Forever in My Heart,” which aired on GMA Network ten years ago. Also in the cast are artists Kapuso artists Rita de Guzman, Gerald Santos, and Jeric Gonzales together with award-winning performer Rachel Alejandro and theater artist Joey Paras.
“Himig ng Pasko” tells the story of an OFW who returns to her hometown to fulfill her three wishes – that is to get closer to her daughter, to revive the family’s parol-making business, and to rekindle an old flame. Plus, with all cast members being well-rounded performers, viewers should not miss the singing showdown among the artists.
Directed by Zig Dulay, “Himig ng Pasko” airs this December on GMA Network.
