After receiving backlash from netizens over his comments on Manny Pacquaio’s anti same-sex marriage stand, host-comedian Vice Ganda took to Twitter for counter defense.
In his Tweet, the host comedian said his and other comedians jokes are different from a serious remark of a politician.

He also clarified that the issue is not about him but the entire LGBT community which was affected by Pacman’s statement.

Vice Ganda is on the receiving end of negative tweets and reactions from the netizens after his strong statement against Manny Pacquiao.
Netizens who sided with Pacman, threw the stone at Vice Ganda’s form of entertainment and the use of the Pacquiao family as subject of his jokes.

They chided Vice’s sensitivity on LGBT issues while being insensitive in throwing jokes on other people and personalities.

Vice is not the only personality who calls out Pacquiao’s anti-gay slur. Some of the celerities who also issued statements against Pacaman were Lea Salonga, John Lapus, Boy Abunda and American blogger and TV personality Perez Hilton.

In the end Vice has seemed to learn the art of ignoring bashers and just posted a question on his last tweet.
