Kapamilya stars Judy Ann Santos and Sharon Cuneta were surprised by Sarah Geronimo’s message for them during their guesting in “Magandang Buhay” on June 9.
The Popstar Royalty showed her gratitude to her two ates in showbiz. She said, “To Ate Juday at Ate Sharon, gusto ko magpasalamat sa kanilang dalawa dahil sa friendship.”
Sarah recalled how Judy Ann and Sharon have shown their support to her and how they defended her from the bashers. She continued: “Grabe, intense talaga ang ibinigay nila sa aking suporta at pagtatanggol noong mga panahon na ‘yon. I will forever be grateful sa mga nagawa nila para sa akin.”
“Gusto ko pong magpasalamat lang talaga kay Ate Juday sa pagiging ate, pagiging kaibigan,” she added.
The singer then confessed that she still feel starstrucked every time she sees the Mega Star. “Kay Ate Sharon, ‘yung pagiging inspirasyon, every time na nakikita ko ang Megastar nai-starstruck pa din ako, ang ganda-ganda. Lalo na kapag kumakanta siya ng sarili niyang awitin. The one and the only Megastar,” said Sarah.
For the Kapamilya singer, her closeness with Sharon is a blessing and an honor. She emphasized: “Isa pong karangalan at talagang blessed ako na nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon na mapalapit sa mga taong hinahangaan ng buong Pilipinas. Salamat po.”
Judy Ann then wished for Sarah’s happiness as she stressed that the latter deserved it. “Lahat tayo, we deserve to be truly happy. We deserve that bilang tao. Kahit di artista eh deserve natin na maging masaya. So siya I hope someday ay makita niya ang happiness niya, kasi napakabuti niyang tao,” she emphasized.
It could be recalled that the friendship of Sarah and Judy Ann began in 2010, when they topbilled the film “Hating Kapatid”. The two became close to each other since then.
On the other hand, “The Voice Teens” coach developed a strong friendship with Sarah because of Judy Ann. Sharon revealed, “Ang totoo mas close sila ni Sarah, kasi nakasama niya na sa movie. Since ayaw kong magselos, inampon ko na si Sarah, para kapag kasama namin hindi sumasama ang loob ko, eh napakabait naman nung bata na ‘yon talaga.”
Sharon and Judy Ann’s guesting jn “Magandang Buhay” was part of the weeklong celebration for the show’s first anniversary. The “Bet on Your Baby” host and Sharon also talked about their friendship through the years.
