News outlet Manila Bulletin recently live-tweeted about Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque. He had also admitted that he is friends with PCOO Asec Mocha Uson.
However, he stated something about Mocha which made netizens, especially women, feel offended and insulted. Netizens had also named Mocha as the purveyor of fake news.
Manila Bulletin‘s tweet read:

Netizens reacted harshly to the said tweet. One netizen couldn’t even help themselves to cuss.
They also added that they could just throw away historical books about iconic women who had fought for the Philippines.
“Putang ina kung ganyan ang magiging model ng kababaihan eh itapon nyo na ang mga libro ukol kila Gregoria de Jesus, Gabriela Silang, Escoda at iba pang matinong Filipina.”
Another netizen also sustained that they couldn’t help themselves to cuss.

One netizen, however, made a different and more comedic approach to the situation.
““Are you ready to be role models?”
Tandang Sora gulped.

“Yes, Mocha”, they said in unison.”
Another netizen acknowledged that there remains a lot of role model for women. They continued that if Mocha will remain as the only woman in the world, she will never be a role mode model would choose.
“Naknang! Daming role model na babae.
Kahit si Bocha na lang natitirang babae sa mundo, hindi pa rin siya ang pipiliin kong role model.”
Another netizen passed it to men whether they would accept Mocha as a role model. They also added that women cannot take her in as a role model.
“Pasa ko nalang sa mga kalalakihan. Willing ba kayong kunin si mocha bilang role model ninyo? Because ako, as a woman, cannot take her in as my role model tbh”
Another netizen also said that they would rather become a man.
