Vice Ganda remains a busy bee. His busy schedule and hectic environment took a toll on his physical and mental health. He experienced burn-out due to extreme exhaustion.
In an interview with MJ Felipe, Vice shared the story of what he felt during those dark times.
In the said interview, Vice shared that he felt empty amid the height of his career.
“I felt I was empty.
Vice took a step to ask for professional help. He experienced anxiety attacks and started to lose sleep from it and he couldn’t work and function properly.
“We had to meet a doctor and ask for professional help.
The anxiety attacks and the feelings of emptiness started to get to him that Vice wanted to leave the showbiz industry. He had already told the management about his decisions on leaving.
“I even thought of leaving muna. Kung pwede bang mag-bawas ba ako ng show. Nagiging ganun ako.”
However, Vice’s uncertainty lessened when he had a talk with Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. Every person has a purpose. Celebrities have a huge obligation on their purpose. However, the devil would play on their minds in order not to serve their own purpose.
“Lahat tayo, may purpose.
Vice shared his mindset on being happy. He also used his own mindset to inspire many people and make them happy.
“Every day naka-mindset ako na ‘I have to be happy! I embrace my happiness and my blessings. And I have to serve my purpose everyday.'”
