Days are now brighter for carpenter, Razel Marchan, and construction worker, Jose Santiago, after winning a Lumina house and lot each in the “Masagang Pa-Thank You” promo of ABS-CBN TVplus.
Marchan and Santiago complete the list of four house and lot winners in the promo that ABS-CBN TVplus held to thank its more than 5 million users. Mario Miranda Jr., a driver, and Bryan Duque, a cook each won the same package in earlier draws.
“I did not believe the caller when he told me that I won because there are many scams nowadays. I only realized that it was true when I saw my name flashed on television during commercial breaks while watching ‘Cinemo‘ and ‘TV Patrol, ‘” said Marchan.
All Marchan wanted to win was a cellphone or a load and was surprised by the news. “Instead of paying the rent, I can now keep my money for my children’s education,” he stated.
Meanwhile, 52-year old Santiago works as a construction worker in Los Banos, Laguna. He is grateful to ABS-CBN TVPlus because after 22 years of constantly moving houses, he has now a house that they can call their own.
