Pambansang Bae Alden Richards has a full-packed schedule and then some. He stars in the primetime fantaserye Victor Magtanggol, hosts noontime show Eat Bulaga and he’s currently getting ready for his solo concert in September, Adrenalin Rush.
In a press conference, he revealed that he only has limited time to even have a personal time for himself.
Bonding with Maine.
Alden admitted to hardly ever having to bond with onscreen partner and one-half of the AlDub love team, Maine Mendoza.
“Wala na po, eh. Pero lately, kahit ako mismo, hindi na rin nakakapag-Eat Bulaga. ‘Yung personal time ko rin talaga is very limited. Actually, limited to none. So, medyo mahirap po magkaroon ng personal time lately. All work (no play) po ngayon.”
To leave Eat Bulaga?
Alden was asked if he would let go of other projects, such as hosting Eat Bulaga, to lessen his load and have time for himself.
“Iniisip ko po, actually… Pero babalik ako dun sa parang hindi ko malalagpasan ‘yung challenges kung ‘di ko sila mapagsasabay lahat. I’m really up for the challenge na ma-balance ko po lahat ng mga commitments ko. Kapag naiisip ko po ‘yung (mag-give up). Babalik lang po ako doon to motivate me better.”
Avoids burnout.
When it comes to burning out, Alden trusts himself to avoid it.
“Minsan nagkakaroon ng kaunting hints. Kasi, talagang physical exhaustion is always there, ang hirap i-cope. But lately, natutunan ko to take pleasure on simple things. Makatulog lang ako ng eight hours, masaya na ako the next day, mga ganung bagay. It’s a humbling experience din to do these works ngayon. Pero siyempre, kailangan ko pa rin po ng pahinga.”
