The lead actress of the horror movie ‘Maledecito’ asked the help of fans to keep their movie in cinemas, on social media.
‘Maledecito’ is a horror film by the Fox Networks Group Phillipines and is its first-ever locally-produced horror film, directed by Mark Meily and starred by Tom Rodriguez and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, which premiered on May 1, 2019 in cinemas.
But just recently, the lead actress asked an appeal from fans on her Twitter Account to help the movie stay in cinemas, after a Netizen tweeted and tagged Jasmin Curtis-Smith on how the local movie had to share one cinema for another film.
On the tweet of the netizen, “GRABE MALDEDICTO FIGHTING OVER AVENGERS???? AS IN SIYA LANG NAIIBANG MOVIE SA CINEMA??? SIZ @jascurtissmith IS REALLLL!!!!!!! AVENGERS IS SHAKING!! CHAROT HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH”
Which Jasmine retweeted with a comment on her Twitter Account, “Help us stay in cinemas til the weekend pls 😍 it’s a really tough fight but I promise you that it’s worth the watch 💗”
Which was followed by a tweet of the actress that the movie was denied for block screening in two Taguig Malls because of them not viewing any local films anymore!
“Two malls in Taguig declined our block screenings because apparently they don’t screen local films anymore. 😐”
But despite the plea of the actress, there would be a tendency that the said movie may be removed from the theaters. The fans showed their support and rummaged for that local film and where it is showing.
The fans that had watched the movie showed their support and shared that movie was a must watch!
