Vice Ganda and Ion Perez might just have given a big hint about the real status of their relationship.
Photos of Vice and Ion with their mothers, Rosario Viceral and Zeny Perez, together with a child relative made the rounds among fan pages dedicated to “ViceIon.”
Photos were taken from a Facebook post of a certain Dianne W. Perez on Monday afternoon from an album captioned: “Family with Vice Ganda.”
This isn’t the first family gathering that Vice has been to. As early as November 2018, Ion introduced his mother, Zeny, to the comedy superstar at the studio of It’s Showtime.
In March 2019, when Mrs. Viceral and Vice Ganda’s sister, Emma, were among the audience members of the noontime program, Ion playfully asked permission to have a place in Vice Ganda’s heart. “Humihingi po ako ng permiso — puwede ba ako sa puso niya?” he said.
Two months later, Ion was photographed with Vice Ganda’s family, including Mrs. Viceral, during a vacation in Canada.

Ion, also known as “Kuya Escort” on the noontime variety show It’s Showtime, is the 11th among 15 siblings. He was among the winners of the 2017 Misters of Filipinas pageant and was crowned Mister Universe Tourism, a year later. This opened a door for him in the modeling industry.
Vice is happy with that viewers support their on-screen tandem.
“Madlang Pipol” (as what they called the viewers) felt “kilig” with the “ViceIon” interaction and punchlines during “Kaparewho” segment.
“Masaya, nakakatuwa, kasi kahit matatanda, tuwang-tuwa kay Ion, tuwang-tuwa sa harutan namin ni Ion.
“Nilu-look forward nila yung gagawin namin nila Jackque, nila Ion every day sa Showtime, ” Vice Ganda said.

Vice Ganda and Ion have been teased repeatedly to each other by their co-hosts on the show, but no direct confirmation has ever been made by the two.
