Polo Ravales on working with Sunshine Dizon in ‘Magkaagaw’: ‘Masarap ‘yung feeling at mini reunion.’

He said, “Masarap ‘yung feeling at mini reunion ‘yun hindi lang for me and Sunshine. Kasi, the director of the show is my first ever director nung pumasok ako sa showbiz.”

Polo Ravales is finally working with former love team partner Sunshine Dizon again for GMA Network’s upcoming afternoon prime series Magkaagaw.

Polo will play the role of ‘Oliver’ who will fall in love with Sunshine’s character, ‘Laura,’ the mother of Klea Pineda. Laura will accidentally fall in love with Alfred Vargas’ character in the series.

In an interview with the GMA Network, Polo revealed that he felt nostalgic about working with his ex-girlfriend Sunshine and it feels like a mini reunion for the both of them.

He said, “Masarap ‘yung feeling at mini reunion ‘yun hindi lang for me and Sunshine. Kasi, the director of the show is my first ever director nung pumasok ako sa showbiz.”

He was pertaining to Director Gil Tejada Jr, who also happens to be the same director for the actor’s previous TV series such as Maging Akin Ka Lamang with Nadine Samonte, Encantadia in 2005, and Anna Karenina in 1996.

Compared to Sunshine Dizon who remains loyal to GMA Network, Polo was able to work in ABS-CBN and GMA network alternatively. He has done an episode for Ipaglaban Mo, some scenes in La Luna Sangre as ‘Erin,’ and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as ‘Brad’ in 2015.

Sunshine has never stopped working and accepting projects offered by the GMA network. As a matter of fact, she won the Best Actress Award for GMA’s Ika-6 Na Utos in 2017 by OFW Gawad Parangal, “Most Outstanding Filipina Actress in Television” by 16th Gawad Amerika Awards, and “Best Supporting Actress” for Little Nanay awarded by 30th PMPC Star Awards for TV in 2016.
