In an exclusive interview with PEP for the upcoming TV series of Carmina Villaroel and John Estrada, former Kambal Karibal star Pauline Mendoza talked about finally landing a lead role.
According to Kapuso actress, she has been waiting to get a lead role for four years, since she has worked on several TV shows like Little Nanay, That’s My Amboy, My Love from the Star with Jennylyn Mercado, and Kambal Karibal as Crisel.
She said: “Matagal ko na ring hinihintay ito, four years. I think deserve ko rin siya kasi talagang buong four years na pinagtrabahuan ko dito, talagang very hardworking ako as an artist. And it’s really my passion to create something new, and mabigyan ng justice ‘yung roles, mag-iba iba ng characters.”
During the story conference of her upcoming TV series, Pauline also expressed her gratitude towards the network, her handler, and everyone who trusted her with her first lead role.
“Siyempre sobrang thankful ako kasi first time kong magkaroon ng lead role at sakto sobrang ganda ng proyekto.
As the leading lady for GMA’s upcoming show, Pauline firmly believes that this is her chance to prove that she’s absolutely leading lady material. In fact, she’s been actively attending acting workshops for years to hone her skills.
