- Mocha Uson just relocated La Trinidad to Baguio City.
Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson has again made social media notoriety with her latest blunder.
In her latest video posted on her Facebook page, Mocha mistakenly identified La Trinidad, Benguet as La Trinidad, Baguio.
“Magandang hapon po….Andito po tayo sa La Trinidad Baguios…Baguio City,” said Mocha during her video intro.
Seemingly confused, she sought confirmation from the lady she was about to interview if La Trinidad is indeed in Baguio.
“Ang La Trinidad Baguio pa rin di ba?” Mocha asked.
“Iba po. La Trinidad, Benguet,” the lady responded.
Mocha then corrected herself.
“Ay iba pala. Sorry sorry. La Trinidad Benguet,” she said.

Meanwhile, celebrities and netizens couldn’t help but laugh over this latest blunder from Mocha.

Pia Magalona, on the other hand, wondered how Mocha mistakenly interchanged Baguio and Benguet since they don’t sound alike at all.

This is not the first time that Mocha made a geography gaffe.
In January 2018, Mocha ”relocated” Mayon Volcano from Albay to Naga.
In a livestream on her Facebook page, an agitated Mocha mistakenly identified Mayon as being located in Naga after addressing critics of her UST Alumni award.
“Ginagamit po ng ilang mga tao ang isyu na ‘to, itong isyu sa award, para pagtakpan ‘yung isyu ng Dengvaxia, isyu ng pagtanggap diumano ni Senator Drilon ng pera kay Napoles, at ang pinakamahalaga pa, ‘yang nangyayari sa Naga, ‘yang pag-aalburuto ng Mayon Volcano,” she said.
It is unclear if the video or the reallocation of La Trinidad has anything to do with Mocha’s duties at OWWA.
