Jobert Sucaldito continues to attack his former network ABS-CBN.
In his latest post, the former DZMM host meddled in the issue of Daryl Ong for a fresh attack against the Kapamilya network.
“Napanood ko ang video ni Daryl Ong regarding sa pagtanggal sa kaniya ng ABS-CBN na may tagline na ‘in the service of the Filipino’ and refers to everyone who works there as Kapamilya and medyo nalungkot ako. naramdaman ko ang nangyari sa kaniya dahil ganoon din halos ang nangyari sa akin, kasama ang ilan pang mga nawala na sa tinatawag nating Kapamilya network.”
On June 15, Ong uploaded a video on his YouTube channel explaining the circumstances that led to his eventual ban from the network.
According to Daryl, their conversation was recorded during one of their out of town shows. In the conversation, they talked about the ABS-CBN franchise and its signature campaign wherein Ong commented that it would be hard to amass the needed number of signatures.
He also added that ABS-CBN is up against the government and the President so he said it will be really hard for the network to come back.
Daryl meanwhile said he’s still thankful and he has no ill feelings against the network which helped further his music career.

However, Jobert used the issue to somehow validate his own grudge against the network.
“Masyadong mababaw ang karamihan sa mga dahilan ng ABS-CBN sa pagtanggal ng marami nilang trabahador. imagine, yung isang simpleng kuwentuhan lang with friends (Bugoy and company) would lead sa pagkasibak nila sa network without even giving them the chance to air their side of the story. ganyan ka-feeling ang mga tao sa loob ng istasyon – mga diyos ang turing nila sa mga sarili nila – iyan ang mga anay sa loob. napakayayabang – napaka-walanghiya ng ilang mga boss diyan sa ABS-CBN.”
He also questioned the network’s tagline In the Service of the Filipino which he said was not true.
“Iyan ba ang pinaglalaban ninyong istasyon – ang masyadong marahas sa kanilang mga desisyon sa mga pobre? IN THE SERVICE OF THE FILIPINO? huwag niyo kaming ululin! isang malaking katarantaduhan ang tagline na iyan. sarap pangalanan ang mga naghahari-harian sa loob. sarap pagsasampalin. puwes, namnamin ninyo ang KARMA na kinakaharap at haharapin pa ninyo in the future. sabi nga nila ‘when you’re up there’s no way but dow.’”
Jobert’s anger against ABS-CBN can be traced to when he was suspended from his DZMM program. The suspension came after Jobert’s widely criticized comment about Nadine Lustre insinuating she should have just committed suicide.
“You are wrong here. Unang-una, gusto namin ipaalala sa inyo lahat na mga fans ng JaDine, hindi kami ang may pakulo ng lahat ng ito. Wala kaming alam sa mga buhay ng mga idols ‘nyo. Sila ang gawa-gawa ng kuwento na ang mali namin pinatulan namin kaya medyo lumaki at pinag-uusapan,” he said, referring to the actress and her fans.
“‘Di ba iyon naman ang gusto nila? Kuno-kuno na may mga labas ng puwet, naka T-back pa doon sa building, tapos may mga nakalagay na caption na parang gustong tumalon sa building. Sana tumalon na lang kung ganun din naman pala,” he added.
After getting backlash on social media, DZMM then moved to suspend Sucaldito pending an investigation on the matter. Jobert, however, didn’t accept the suspension and went to DOLE saying he was illegally dismissed by the network.
“Jobert Sucaldito’s contract as an anchor of the DZMM program Showbuzz”was suspended, as is standard procedure, while he is under investigation due to the remarks he made on-air about actress Nadine Lustre’s mental health.
“It is not true that he was illegally dismissed from his post. He was also given due process and was able to explain his side on the matter,” said DZMM in their statement.
