Netizens complain of huge electric bills while Ate Gay has an unusual complaint

The Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) has received criticism due to the complaints of some netizens over their huge electric bill.

But comedian Ate Gay also has another complaint about his Meralco Bill.

A lot of netizens posted their complaints on social media about Meralco after receiving their electric bill.

On May, another netizen also posted that a friend’s electric bill that reached 1.7 million in just one month that caught the attention of the other netizens online. Because of this, Meralco received criticism regarding the issue.

Meralco had investigated the issue and found out that the said bill reflected was owned by SM Development Corporation and not a residential area. The company also said that it would consider filing a case against the netizen who posted the photo of the bill online.

Amid the issue, Ate Gay had a different complaint about his electricity bill.

In his Instagram post, he shared a photo of his bill with the caption: “Grabe naman kayo Meralco bakit ang baba ng Bill koooooh! Maiba lang haha.“

Ate Gay’s post received funny reactions from the netizens. One said, “Na tawa ako “ANG LIWANAG NANG BUKAS“ (face with tears of joy emojis) Kasi sa iba nag dilim ang bukas nila.” Another said,“Baka ibinasi sa baba mo Ate Gay. Charot.”
