Actor-host Luis Manzano revealed the reason Piolo Pascual chose to transfer networks and leave ABS-CBN after the shutdown.
On Instagram, Piolo promoted his new Sunday variety show on TV5 with Maja Salvador, Catriona Gray, Jake Ejercito, and Donny Pangilinan, “It’s time to celebrate because the Sunday Noontime Live Official Poster is finally HERE! Party on with the our [sic] Ultimate Hosts, Piolo Pascual, Catriona Gray, Donny Pangilinan, Jake Ejercito, and Maja Salvador.”
“Join them with special stars as they sing, dance, and do more act this Sunday, Oct. 18, 12 PM only on TV5!”

Sunday Noontime Live is TV5 ‘s latest noontime show featuring former Kapamilya artists including Catriona Gray, Donny Pangilinan, Jake Ejercito, and Maja Salvador. This is led by Mr. Johnny Manahan, who is a Kapamilya network star-maker.
Luis made a humorous comment on the said post of Piolo. Luis has often joked that he can best Piolo in terms of good looks.
“Congrats bro.. alam ko naman yung totoo… di mo kinakaya na mas cute ako sayo dito sa ABS kaya lumayo ka na lang sa gulo. Tama yan”
Piolo didn’t reply but netizens couldn’t help but laugh over Luis’s joke.
This wasn’t the first time Luis messed around with his fellow stars. He once jokingly warned Toni Gonzaga about her sister Alex.
Alex had posted a video of herself and sister Toni play fighting and Seve (Toni ‘s son) didn’t find it funny.
“Si Toni nakikita ko nakipaglokohan… pero ikaw nakita ko ang tunay na galit at poot sa mata mo laban may Toni. Bistado ka.. kaya Toni, wag kang matutulog.”
He also congratulated his brother in show business, Billy Crawford for his new noontime show, Lunch Out Loud.
