In her message for all Kapamilyas during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2020, Chief Operating Officer of Broadcast for ABS-CBN Cory Vidanes sent her heartwarming message to all supporters and fans of the Kapamilya network.
Firstly, Vidanes highlighted the value of family and its connection with the spirit of Christmas and God’s love.
“Sa piling ng ating mga mahal sa buhay, palagi tayong may pag-asa anuman ang pinapangarap. May proteksyon sa mga pangamba, may suporta sa mga pinagsisikapan, at may paghilom pag tayo ay nasugatan. At higit sa lahat ang pag-ibig ng ating pamilya ay tulad ng pag-ibig ng Diyos na walang sukat at walang hangganan,” said Vidanes.
She then thanked all Kapamilya’s who supported the network amidst the pandemic and the struggles they faced this 2020.
“Maraming salamat na ang ABS-CBN ay itinuring nyong bahagi ng inyong mga pamilya. Ang mga programa namin ay lagi nyong pinatutuloy sa inyong mga tahanan. Ang kaligayahan namin sa araw-araw ay ang inyong patuloy na pagtanggap at pagmamahal sa amin. Hiling namin ngayon Pasko ay patuloy namin maipadama sa inyo ang pagmamahal,” said Vidanes.
Finally, Vidanes expressed a message of solidarity to all Kapamilya network employees, both current and former. She also hoped that ABS-CBN’s effort continues to give joy and inspiration to their audience.
“Mula sa aming lahat sa ABS-CBN management, mula sa lahat ng mga kapamilya stars, at news personalities. At mula sa lahat ng empleyado namin, noon at ngayon, forever namin kayong kapamilya. Sana ang aming serbisyo ay patuloy na makapag-bigay ng ligaya at inspirasyon sa inyong bawat araw,” said Vidanes.

Earlier this year, ABS-CBN suffered numerous hurdles, including the denial of their franchise, their shutdown, their retrenchment, and the pandemic. Because of this, ABS-CBN aims to embrace 2021 despite the lack of franchise and continue serving the Filipino.
