During the press conference for I Can See You Season 2: On My Way To You, actress Malou De Guzman and actor Richard Yap shared their experiences while doing the anthology series.
De Guzman thanked director Mark Reyes for inviting her to join the cast.
“Ako’y nagpapasalamat talaga na ako’y nabigyan ng pagkakataon na ako’y para maanyayahan ni Direk Mark.”
Then, she shared that she received a warm welcome from the cast of the anthology series.
“It’s a (very) warm welcome. Talaga pong mainit ang pagtanggap,” said De Guzman.
She added that the cast was genuine. So it was easy for her to establish rapport with her co-actors and the crew.
“Yung talagang naaano mo na kaagad yung truth. Yung genuine. Yung ganon. Kaya po napanatag din ako kaagad. Tsaka talagang nagkapalagayan ng loob agad,” said De Guzman.
As for Yap, he said that he never felt uncomfortable with everyone on the set. He echoed De Guzman’s impression about the cast’s welcoming demeanor.
“I never felt uncomfortable. Kasi parang everybody was so down to earth, walang merong ano yung parang pinapafeel sayo na hindi ka kasama sa, yung baguhan ka lang. Na galing ka sa kabila, I never had that feeling. Parang, everyone was so welcoming,” said Yap.
He also added that they built good rapport on the set, resulting in one of their Tiktok videos.
“And, ang bilis namin maka bond. I only had a few days there. I was there for only two days pero ang ganda ng bonding. Ang ganda ng rapport namin, as you can see, gumawa din kami ng Tiktok,” said Yap.
Former Kapamilyas, De Guzman, and Yap join the cast of I Can See You for its second season with their first offering, On My Way To You. With them are lead stars Ruru Madrid and Shaira Diaz. The cast also includes Arra San Agustin, Gil Cuerva, and Ashley Rivera. The anthology series directed by Director Mark Reyes airs this March 22 on GMA Network.
