According to Heaven Peralejo, intense confrontation scenes are ‘rehearsed’; tension with Barbie Imperial is not personal during the slapping scene in ‘Bagong Umaga’

The young star said that she was raised in the industry with the value of professionalism.

Kapamilya star Heaven Peralejo remains open about doing intense confrontation scenes.

During the Bagong Umaga media conference on Tuesday, April 27, Peralejo shared how she handles intense encounter scenes.

The young star said that she was raised in the industry with the value of professionalism.

“Siguro ganun ako ni-raise na talagang trabaho lang talaga yun.”

She also emphasized that their director is always there to guide and remind them that what they are doing is just for the camera.

“Andun naman si Direk Paco para sabihan kame ni Barbie na, ‘work lang naman ‘to guys, for Tisay and Cai’s character and for Bagong Umaga’s viewers.”

An issue sparked previously that the slap of Peralejo (Tisay) to Barbie Imperial (Cai) during their encounter in a Bagong Umaga, was taken personally by the latter.

Imperial posted on facebook: “Never in my whole acting life may sumampal sakin na nagpasa sa mukha ko. Na kahit paulit-ulit mo i-remind na masakit na, gagawin pa din.

“Buong buhay ko sa showbiz wala akong nakaaway na katrabaho ko. Ang hirap kumalma. T*ngina.”

The tension between the two parties began when Imperial together with Chie Filomeno and Ricci Rivero posted cryptic posts aiming to attack Heaven.

This was followed by an allegation that Heaven is the third party that caused the break up of couple Devon Seron and Kiko Estrada.

Heaven also revealed that just like other scenes, intense confrontations are also rehearsed.

“Inalagaan naman kame ni Direk Paco that time. Pero kasi kame once na dumating kame sa set pinagusapan na namin nila Direk Paco and Direk Carlo na dapat focused kame so, walang kame time na magloko loko muna kasi ang dami naming scene na gagawin for the day,” she said.

“Kailangan pagdating mo sa set, memorized mo na lahat and kilala mo na yung character mo.” she added.

Bagong Umaga is now down to its finale week. The Kapamilya series is directed by Carlo Po Artillaga and Paco Sta. Maria. Heaven Peralejo, Tony Labrusca, Barbie Imperial, Kiko Estrada, Michelle Vito and Yves Flores headline the series.
