Actor Aljur Abrenica shares his and Kylie Padilla’s parenting dynamic at home.

In the story conference for the upcoming Viva film, Nerisa, Abrenica described his and Padilla’s parenting style as wide-range and a trial.

“Ang dynamic namin ni Kylie malawak kasi its a trial, lagi kaming nagta-try ng mga bagong parenting.”

He added that he felt surprised when he realized that they take after their parents.

“We look back. Tinitignan namin kung paano kami lumaki, pano yung parents namin. And, pag nagka-anak ka na, ang nakakagulat, na-tap natin yung mga ugali ng mga parents natin.”

However, he clarified that they take what they learned into a positive parenting experience for their kids, adding how they wanted the best for their children.

“We take what’s good sa mga parents natin. And then what’s not good, you make it better. And never kaming tumigil sa pag experiment kung paano mas mapapalaki yung mga bata ng pinakamaayos na kaalaman.”

Earlier, Abrenica admitted to the speculations that he and Padilla had relationship problems. However, he clarified that they resolved it for their kids.

As for his acting career, Abrenica joins the cast of the upcoming Viva Film production, Nerisa, under the direction of Lawrence Fajardo.

The cast includes Cindy Miranda as the lead with AJ Raval, Guji Lorenzana, Sean de Guzman, Sheree Bautista, Gwen Garci, Bembol Roco, and Elizabeth Oropesa. Nerisa begins filming this coming Wednesday, May 26.
