Kapamilya artist and YouTube vlogger Ivana Alawi hit back on bashers who belittled and labeled her as ‘hubadera lang’ (loves to strip).
In an interview on I Feel U with Toni Gonzaga, Ivana said that she’s more than what and how others see her.
“I know myself and alam kong I’m more than just sa paghuhubad.”
The vlogger also said that these comments do not affect her because she is proud of who she is.
“Proud ako sa sarili ko, bakit ako magpapaapekto sa mga taong tumitingin saakin ng mababa and their trying to say na – madami kasing ganun eh, parang sinasabi nila na ‘Ano ba yan panay pakita ka lang ng katawan yun lang naman meron ka, wala kang utak.’
“Pero I’m proud of myself, nakapagtapos ako ng college, natutulungan ko yung family ko and I’m happy. I’m doing what (I love) doing and I’m not hurting anyone.”
The Kapamilya star also said that her job is decent and she accepts every hateful comment because she thinks that they are jealous of her.
“Trabahong marangal (ito), naiingit lang sila and I accept that.”
She, however, mentioned that if she gets married someday, she will walk away from her sexy figure, definitely, as a sign of respect to her future husband.
Ivana finished Culinary Arts at Global Academy and also studied Fashion Marketing at Enderun Colleges.
She signed under ABS-CBN before the pandemic and a few months before the network’s shutdown. With this, her projects were postponed and her anticipated stardom got delayed.
Currently, she is a full-time vlogger with more than 13 million subscribers on YouTube.
From all the blessings she received, through her vlogs, she does not only deliver entertainment for the people but also gives back to the community.
