Max Collins explained why she and her husband Pancho Magno held separate birthday parties for their son Skye Anakin. Skye Anakin turned one on Tuesday, July 6.
Recently on Instagram, Collins shared photos of Skye’s racing-themed birthday party that she organized at Hilton Hotel in Pasay City.
Part of her caption wrote, “Happy 1st birthday my little racer! Thank you @hiltonmanila for hosting his celebration and taking such good care of us!”

Her celebrity friends Janina Manipol, Michelle Dee, and Rhian Ramos–were spotted in attendance.
Magno, on the other hand, celebrated his son’s birthday with a Star Wars theme.
He also uploaded several photos and videos from his son’s birthday party on Instagram.
However, he did not mention the date and location of the birthday party.
Basing on the photos, it seemed that the event took place at his family home in Quezon City.
Magno posted on Instagram, “Happy First Birthday to our Jedi Master! We love you! [heart emoji].”

The couple’s Instagram posts got flooded with birthday greetings from fellow celebrities and fans. Along with this, some netizens questioned why the two held birthday parties separately for their son.
It was noticeable that they did not mention or tag each other on their respective Instagram posts about their son’s birthday parties.
It led many to speculate that the two have split up or are currently going through a rough time.
During an online mediacon held on July 9, Collins finally explained why she and Magno had separate birthday parties for Skye.
Squashing their break-up rumors, Collins said that her racing-themed birthday party with Skye was a surprise gift from a friend. Magno was not around that time because he was busy. Collins was also absent during Magno’s intimate birthday party with Skye due to her endorsement shoot.
She explained, “The reason why magkaiba yung parties namin is my friends… I have this barkada and they actually made the surprise party for Skye. Nagkataon lang na hindi talaga available si Pancho that day (at taping). That’s why he wasn’t there and then he had another party sa bahay na hindi ako kasama kasi may endorsement shoot ako. So I really wasn’t there that time kaya magkaiba.”
As to why she and Magno didn’t post any photos together on social media, the Kapuso star reasoned that she is currently focused on her new project.
“Also in regard to that, siyempre madaming nagtatanong why we not post each other because I’m really focusing on my project now.
“I’m a mom and a wife secondary but first and foremost I’m an actress. That’s really my career path as a leading lady and so ayoko matabunan yun ng pagiging mother and wife ko. Naiintindihan naman yun ni Pancho so I think that’s the most important thing. Kami ang nagkakaintindihan about how we want to be perceived by other people,” Collins said.
Despite having separate birthday parties, the Kapuso star shared that Skye was happy on both days.
Collins will have a locked-in taping for her upcoming Kapuso drama series To Have and To Hold.
Meanwhile, her husband, Magno, finished working on his previous project called First Yaya, which concluded on July 2, 2021.
It is not the first time when the couple’s relationship got questioned.
It was in May when netizens started noticing that the couple looked less sweet as compared before. Their followers also noted that Magno did not post any Valentine greetings for Collins in February.
Collins did not post any photo of hers with Magno. Her last post with the latter was on March 14, 2020.
The couple had a four-year relationship before they tied the knot on December 11, 2017. They also introduced their newborn baby on July 08, 2020.
