Bea Alonzo shared a message for the people who are against her transfer to the GMA Network.
In an interview with PEP on September 13, Alonzo said she respects the people’s opinions regarding her network transfer.
The actress became a Kapuso on July 1, after being with the ABS-CBN network for about 20 years.
“Kung hindi nila sinusuportahan and decision ko, that’s okay,” she said.
She then shared that people have their own opinions in every situation.
“Wala akong magagawa if they don’t support my decision. They’re entitled in their own opinion and their own feelings and that’s okay.”
Alonzo is a former homegrown talent of ABS-CBN. She was a part of Star Magic’s Batch 10 in 2001 along with her batchmates Dennis Trillo, Alfred Vargas, Nadine Samonte, TJ Trinidad, and Karel Marquez.
She was one of ABS-CBN’s A-listers, a distinction for few Kapamilya artists after garnering box-office hits or top-rating shows.
Some people expressed their dismay over Alonzo’s network transfer as the actress was supposed to star in a series with Richard Gutierrez titled Kahit Minsan Lang.
People said that the actress wasted time, effort, and money invested in the early stages of the production of the said Kapamilya series.
During the Zoom conference for Alonzo’s grand Kapuso welcome, the actress explained that her network transfer has something to do with wanting to try out fantaseryes as well as controversial teleseryes to which the Kapuso network is best known for.
She will soon star in a film with Alden Richards titled ill A Moment to Remember. The film is a Philippine adaptation of the 2001 Japanese drama Pure Soul. It will be co-produced by GMA Pictures, Viva Films, and APT Entertainment.
