Actor and performer Rodjun Cruz said on Thursday, November 4, that he stayed with GMA Network because they give him the opportunities to grow.
“Siguro nandito pa rin ako kasi mas lalo kong nasho-showcase ang talents ko and mas madami akong natutunan sa kanila.
“Kasi sila ang nagbibigay sa akin ng iba’t-ibang roles na dito ko lang din ginawa s’yempre sa GMA; mas lalong lumalakas ang loob ko, mas lalong nahahasa ako as an actor. At the same time, nakakapag-perform kasi love ko rin ang mag-perform,” he said during his online media interview.
The 34-year old actor signed his contract renewal with GMA Network, his home for many years.
“Simula My Husband’s Lover pa lang sobrang thankful na ako to GMA dahil lagi nila akong pinagkakatiwalaan. Grateful talaga ako dahil lagi nila akong binibigyan ng opportunity para ma-showcase ‘yung talent ko.”
Moreover, he said that the Kapuso Network gave him projects with inspiring stories, thus helping inspire Filipinos more.
“Dito kasi sa GMA, blessing kasi sa’kin na nakaka-inspire ako ng mas madaming tao. So nakaka-share ako ng iba’t-ibang istorya and nakaka-inspire ng mas madaming tao talaga.”
Apart from the opportunities, Cruz is also grateful for GMA Network in allowing him to become a performer and an actor at the same time.
“Actually doon ako thankful sa GMA kasi napagsasabay-sabay natin kasi s’yempre love ko talagang umarte and s’yempre love ko rin mag-perform,” he expressed.
When asked the best part of being a Kapuso, Cruz said that GMA Network always believed in him, even giving him roles that he thought he could not do at first.
“Siguro yung best part para sa akin na pinagkakatiwalaan nila ako ng iba’t-ibang roles na mas natututo ako as an actor. Mas nae-experience ako and excited ako dahil dati kapag may role ako, natatakot akong gawin. Kasi baka hindi ko mabigyan nang justice, baka hindi ko ito magawa.
“Pero dahil sa GMA, ang dami nilang binigay na role sa akin na dati ayaw ko na kaya ko naman pala. Basta lakasan ko lang talaga ang loob ko and naka-guide sa akin yung mga tao, mas naniniwala ako na kaya kong gawin kahit ano dahil sa GMA,” thanked Cruz.
