The value of being content with one’s blessings is the main attraction in the final installment of iWantTFC’s Web drama anthology, Click, Like, Share Season 3. The series plumbs into the depths of our over-reliance on social media and the Internet again. It seeks to shed light on the story of two sisters who get jealous of each other’s life (because of their misconceptions).
Young Kapamilya female stars Belle Mariano and Shanaia Gomez are playing as sisters, Jesse and Jenny. They have been separated since they were still young, because of their parents’ failed marriage.
While both learned to adapt to their respective lives without each other and just one of their parents, Jessy and Jenny grow up believing the other is lucky for living the life they envy. One day, when Jessy and his father (Bernard Palanca), came to Jenny’s place to celebrate her birthday, Jessy wished that she and her sister swap lives. The next day, Jessy and Jenny woke up in each other’s bodies. It prompted them to pretend they are who they look like to their parents. This swap, however, inadvertently allowed each other to examine each other’s lives and make them appreciate the blessings they already have, by being who they are.
Gomez [obviously] still has things to work out, in terms of her emotional delivery, but she’s a beauty fit to take on leading lady roles. Mariano, on the other hand, does not surprise anymore about her impressive take on Jessy, but she comes out breathtaking nonetheless.
Body swapping has become a common theme, with new movies and TV shows, adapting it for their plotlines. ‘Swap’ could easily win the audience’s attention by utilizing such a theme, alone, but to this episode’s credit, there is a lot more to appreciate beyond that; here, we have Gomez and Mariano’s mesmerizing charms, as well as the episode’s moving storyline.
