Comedian Bayani Agbayani admitted on March 14 that he’s feeling nervous about his taking part as one of the judges for Masked Singer Pilipinas.
During the media conference for the second season of Masked Singer Pilipinas, Agbayani praised the success of the show’s first season and the camaraderie of the judges and its host.
“Ako tuwang-tuwa, kasi syempre napakagagaling na mga artista nito. Hindi lang ‘to basta judge detectives lahat. Ito’y magagaling na artista, magagaling na host. At itong season one nila ay talagang dinumog at pinanood ng mga tao.”
He expressed his hopes that the singing competition would have higher ratings on its new season with him joining the judges.
“Kaya medyo ninenerbyos din ako kasi baka ako pa ang maging dahilan kung anong maging rating nito. Kaya kailangan ‘Lord, mas pataasin mo kaysa sa season one, kasi sobrang taas po ng season one.’ Kaya laging kong dinadasal gabi-gabi, sana mahigitan ‘yung taas na sobra bg season one nitong season two.”
He then shared how he adjusted to the bond of the judges, with him being the newcomer in the show.
“Ako hindi na masyado kasi si Cristine, kilala ko na. Si Kim, si Matteo, nakakasama ko kahit papaano sa ABS-CBN. Si Kuya Aga, kapatid ko ‘yan. Si Billy naman, kasama ko ‘yan sa Lunch Out Loud.
“Medyo tinignan ko lang muna kung papaano ‘yung rapport nila. And ‘yung makita ko na bonded na sila sabi ko, ‘Ay hindi na ako mahihirapan dito.’ Hindi naman ako masyadong nahirapan dahil katabi ko si Kuya Aga, nagtatanong tanong ako sa kanila ng mga bagay-bagay tungkol sa lovelife. Ganon.”
Judges Matteo Guidicelli, Kim Molina, Cristine Reyes, and Aga Muhlach return for the second season of TV5’s highly succesful singing competition, Masked Singer Pilipinas. There will be a total of five judges, including Agbayani.
Hosted by Billy Crawford, Masked Singer Pilipinas returns for its second season with 16 new mystery contestants on March 19, 6 PM on TV5.
