Francine Diaz describes her ‘Bola-Bola’ leading men as different dishes

The three, however, have something in common that Diaz liked in a person—caring and protective.

Bola-Bola star Francine Diaz on Friday, March 18, described the personalities of KD Estrada, Akira Morishita, and Ashton Salvador as spaghetti, sinigang, and fried chicken respectively.

She explained that Estrada feels like spaghetti because of his underlying sweetness.

Pero kapag hinalo mo siya, ‘pag mas kinilala mo si KD, masarap siyang kasama tsaka sweet siyang tao,” described the Diaz during the virtual media press conference of the show.

Meanwhile, she sees herself to Morishita as she points out that the newbie artist’s quirkiness symbolizes the Filipino classic dish sinigang.

Eh si Aki kasi, sobrang funny niyang tao for me.

Salvador is a go-to dish in a restaurant, she said.

The three, however, have something in common that Diaz liked in a person—caring and protective.

So gano’n. Sobrang maalaga at protective silang tatlo. Kaya sobra akong natutuwa and masaya na nakatrabaho ko sila.”

How she guides her leading men.

Among the lead cast of Bola-Bola, Diaz is the artist who has been in the industry since 2015. Being the person with the most experience, she tried to guide Estrada, Morishita, and Salvador.

Although the actress was reluctant to help at first, she eventually found the strength to do so, suggesting impromptu lines whenever a scene needs it.

There was even a particular scene in the series where Diaz tried her best to be natural to make Estrada comfortable.

So may half-Francine doon,” Diaz explained.
