After a three-year hiatus, on Thursday, April 21, actress Ryza Cenon expressed her excitement about acting again. Being a first-time mom, she missed being in the spotlight.

“Super! Sobrang na-miss ko po. Since three years din na hindi ako nag-work and three years din akong nag-struggle dahil first time mom ako,” she said during the virtual media conference of her upcoming horror movie Rooftop.
Apart from excitement, she admitted the pressure is real–since it will also mark Viva Films’ first theatrical release after the pandemic.
“Kasi ito agad yung unang gagawin ko na ipapalabas yung movie na three years ago ko pa siyang ginawa, na unang pelikula na ilalabas sa sinehan.”
She added, “Na-excite ako na sana after this, magtuluy-tuloy ang trabaho na dumating.”
Rooftop was her last project after conceiving her first child, Night.
Internationally-acclaimed filmmaker Yam Laranas directed the movie, and the cast includes Rhen Escaño, Marco Gumabao, Marco Gallo, Andrew Muhlach, Epy Quizon, and Ella Cruz.
An official entry and the only Philippines representative for the Asian Horror Festival, Rooftop will be exclusively available in SM Cinemas on April 27.
