On May 18, seasoned actor Ian Veneracion highlighted the possibility of reuniting with Bea Alonzo in a project with the growth of platforms.
In a press conference, Veneracion said the increase in online platforms made it possible for him to reunite with his A Love to Last co-star.
“Of course, mas malaki ang possibility because now, lumalawak ‘yung ibang mga platforms, so now pwede ka ng gumawa ng certain–for example, show or movie na hindi pa alam kung saan ipapalabas.
“Kasi nga pwede kang gumawa kasi marami ng options. Hindi na tali ang mga producers sa isang platform lang. Kasi online pa lang, ang dami ng platforms. So definitely there’s a possibility there.”
However, he clarified that he doesn’t have any exclusive contract with any network.
“Kasi, sa totoo, in my whole career, I’ve never been exclusive with any particular network, per project lang ako talaga. So for example, may pinitch na project, and ‘yung director, ‘yung cast, and ‘yung story ganyan, I do the project, pero hindi ako nakatali for a certain amount of time. Per project lang ako ever since.”
He added that he’s open to all options with his acting career, especially with the changes in the platforms for artists.
“I’m open to all options naman kasi even now, mayroon mga ventures na– ‘yun nga because the landscape is changing, especially with online. Ang daming partnerships na ‘yung dating hindi magkakasama noon, ngayon nagsasama.”
He then thanked his fans, who continued to support him throughout his career.
“I’d like to thank them, my Tita friends, they love Tito Ian, always present sila. Kunwari nag Naga, they flew to Naga just to watch my concert and kunwari may Iloilo, some of them have tickets na for Iloilo, they’re flying to Iloilo just to watch and the other show in Pampanga, nandoon din sila. Ganon ‘yung suporta.”
Veneracion recently released his Pinoy Rock-inspired single, ‘Ninuno,’ with the help of Ogie Alcasid’s talent management arm, ATeam. He also stars in an upcoming Netflix series, A Love To Kill.
