The said episode followed Deib (Donny) took Max(Belle) to his secret spot to vent their frustrations and share their college plans. However, their sweet and intimate moment got cut off when the two received calls from Tito Boyet and Deib’s Mom revealing to Deib that Max’s uncle shot Dale.
Emotions pour out between the two, with Max crying in the rain and Deib returning to his car to process what happened.
The emotional gut-punch of the scene was turned up to eleven when Deib exited the car and shielded Max from the rain despite the shattering truth bomb he heard moments earlier.
The episode flooded social media with over 500,000 tweets as viewers witnessed the heartbreakingly sweet scene.
DonBelle’s pairing earned several awards after the first season of He’s Into Her. They won Best Love Team for Tag Awards and RAWR Awards in 2021.
