On June 15, up-and-coming Kapamilya drama actress Ivana Alawi said she does not want showbiz newbies to experience humiliation from fellow actors early in her career.
During the round table for A Family Affair, Alawi highlighted the value of respect when she communicates with newbie artists.
“Same pa rin, when I was starting out and now, importante pa rin sa akin ang respeto. So ako kahit baguhan mga kasama ko. I still respect them and I treat them how I wanted to be treated. And importante talaga ang respect for everyone.”
Alawi clarified that she didn’t hold a grudge against the seasoned TV host who disrespected her early on in her career.
“Hindi naman, at hindi rin kasi ako mapagtanim ng galit. So, hindi naman ako galit sa taong ‘yun.”
Earlier, Alawi revealed in a vlog that a well-known TV host disrespected her in front of her co-actors when she started in showbiz.
As for her upcoming project, Alawi stars in the Kapamilya series A Family Affair alongside Gerald Anderson, Sam Milby, Jake Ejercito, and Jameson Blake.
Her teleserye premieres on June 27 the Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, TV5 and iWantTFC.
