On October 6, PIE Night Long hosts Karen Bordador and Reneé Dominique highlighted how they contributed positivity and their kulit-side to the nightly PIE Channel show.
At the media conference for the PIE Channel with the press, including LionhearTV, Bordador, a former Pinoy Big Brother Housemate, cited how her segment helps the audience through relationship advice.
“As you all know, I used to be a radio DJ so ano po ‘yan soundbytes lang po talaga ginagawa ko doon. And here, visual po ‘to, and as you all know I’ve gone through crazy experiences in life, so siguro maiaambag ko po dito sa show na ‘to ay ‘yung you know, ma-realize ninyo na pwede tayong mag-umpisa ulit.
“New beginnings definitely can happen for every person. There are no second chances because there are so many chances /in this world. So that’s why I’m /called Ms. Brightside because I really believe that whatever happens in life, there’s always a bright side to it.”
Dominique recounted her music and YouTube Vlogging journey while emphasizing her kulit-side in their show.
“I’m actually a singer-songwriter and a YouTube content creator. So, also, like /a lot of/ people here, ito po ‘yung first hosting venture ko. This is always something that I want to do. But I’m originally a singer. I’ve been on YouTube for almost ten years, talagang ‘yun ‘yung– that’s my bread and butter kumbaga.
“But I’m really, really grateful to Pie for recognizing something in me that maybe I could be a talk show host, and I’m very, very honored to show another side of me, more on the advice-giving side, and also the more kulit-side.”
