The event gathers the country’s most fashionable and feistiest drag queens.
The Unkabogable Phenomenal Box Office Superstar, Vice Ganda, will once again host another UnkabogaBALL party, which he spearheaded in January, to gather the industry’s finest drag queens and LGBTQIA+ personalities.
The first UnkabogaBALL at the Okada Manila made headlines, as it united several big members of the community, including Paolo Ballesteros, Jervi Li, a.k.a. Kaladkaren, Mela Habijan, Macoy Dubs, Awra Briguela, Pipay Kipay, and a lot more. Allies of the community also graced the event with their fashionable presence, including Vicky Belo and her husband Hayden Kho.
Like last year, the sophomore edition of what is reportedly already an annual event, that Vice Ganda has pledged to host, will be a night of celebration. The TV host and comedian said last time, that he wanted to be the bridge to create every relationship amongst the community members, and that is what this year-end event will also be about.
Interestingly, the second UnkabogaBALL will have a specific theme. This time, it’s Philippine History. That means spectators can look forward to a flurry of fashion extravaganza that features the fusion of the past and the present, and traditional and modern. The event is once again poised to gather content creators, fashion icons, and showbiz personalities alike, in a one of camaraderie and showmanship. And being the Unkabogable Phenomenal star, himself, people can expect the one and only, Vice Ganda, to again steal the night. Although, some random surprises from guest stars won’t likely offend the It’s Showtime host.
The celebration also notably shifts to the Visayas, as the venue of the event will be held at the Tambuli Seaside Resort and Spa in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu on December 10.
