This Friday (August 15), the award-winning game show Family Feud is celebrating its 800th episode—and what better way to mark the occasion than with a heartwarming reunion of one of the most iconic barkadas in Philippine TV history?
Hosted by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, this milestone episode is more than just a game—it’s a celebration of friendship, memories, and the impact of a show that defined an era.
In this special offering, the studio lights up with nostalgia, as the cast of the 1990s youth-oriented Kapuso series T.G.I.S. (Thank God It’s Sabado) returns for a barkadahan showdown.
Representing the original batch is Team TGIS, composed of Michael Flores, Ciara Sotto, Bernadette Allyson, and Maybelyn Dela Cruz. Opposing them are the next-generation TGIS stars, known as the ‘90s Teen Barkada: Kim De Los Santos, Polo Ravales, Maui Taylor, and Chico Ventosa.
As fans cheer for their favorites, the episode also serves as a touching tribute to the late Red Sternberg, one of the show’s well-loved cast members. Red’s family graces the episode to honor his memory and the legacy he left behind as part of the T.G.I.S. family.
Meanwhile, Family Feud continues to share blessings not only to the celebrity players and their chosen charity, but also to two lucky studio audience members. They get the chance to win a total of ₱10,000 by filling in the unrevealed survey answers.
