After the remarkable success of his third studio album, Charlie Burg makes a comeback with his latest single, “Reach”, marking his third release of 2025. 
Originally written during the pandemic, “Reach” has the familiar chill-pop sensibility we’ve learned to love from Charlie, with a new elevated pop-electronic sound that reflects this time in Charlie’s life. Feeling more secure in himself than ever before, Charlie captures this new chapter in his music — honest, self-assured, and sonically more ambitious.
Last month, Charlie released the introspective track “Upon Arrival” — a song with a journey of its own. Originally written in 2020, it underwent two attempted rearrangements in 2023 and a new set of lyrics in 2024, before ultimately reverting to the raw demo version. The final cut captures a sense of unfiltered honesty, and the title itself serves as a metaphor for his reemergence: returning to releasing music, reconnecting with his audience, and rediscovering a deeper sense of self.

In recent years, Charlie has gained an especially devoted fanbase in Southeast Asia, which now accounts for 53% of his global streaming audience. The region currently dominates his top 10 streaming markets, with the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand ranking as his top three markets worldwide, and Singapore and Malaysia also placing in the top 10. In 2023, he deepened his connection with fans in the region — headlining Jakarta’s Jazz Goes To Campus (~20,000 attendees), playing an intimate headline show at Samsung Hall in Manila, performing at VERY Festival in Bangkok alongside Joji and Bloc Party, and making his Singapore debut at the Esplanade Concert Hall for the Mosaic Music Series.
