At the recently held Hair Asia 2025 convention at the World Trade Center, Alpha 8 Corporation highlighted the importance of safe, professional hair care practices while officially launching its new Cysteine product.

Hair Asia 2025 gathered long lines of salon owners and hair stylists at the venue, which featured live demonstrations on proper hair styling, coloring, rebonding, and treatments stationed near the entrance. Half of the WTC was filled with various booths offering promos on professional salon tools and products, while competing stylists prepared their models onstage as part of the event’s live competition.
Alpha 8 Corporation used the convention to emphasize the risks associated with DIY hair procedures, noting that professional-grade products are formulated for trained stylists and must be handled with expertise.
“We don’t recommend DIY or at-home salon treatments that require professional handling,” said James Paul A. Santiago, CEO and President of Alpha 8 Corporation. “Our concern is safety, not just of the clients, but also the reputation of the stylists. When someone does it themselves and gets poor results, they might think the product is at fault, when in reality, it’s about proper technique and professional skill.”

At its booth, Alpha 8 conducted live demonstrations showcasing the correct application of its products, reinforcing the company’s message on proper usage and safe salon procedures. The demos also served as a reminder that improper DIY rebonding and treatments can lead to severe hair damage.
During the program, organizers thanked participants for their support before unveiling Alpha 8’s latest Cysteine-based product, introduced as part of the brand’s expanding line of safer, salon-grade formulations.
Alpha 8 Corporation reiterated its commitment to promoting education, safety, and professionalism in the industry.
