Flour Pot Bistro, a premium café bakery dedicated to serving classic and modern dishes and confections, brings something deeply personal and refreshingly honest to the local food scene.

A brand born from a chef’s deep passion, Flour Pot is a dedication to genuine artistry, and the conviction that the best food offers a comforting, homemade feeling.

At the center of it all is Chef Rhea SyCip, whose thoughtful, grounded approach to food sets the tone for everything Flour Pot offers. Her philosophy is simple but powerful: food should be intentional, heartfelt, and connected to the people and places that inspire it. Every pastry, bread, cake and dishes in Flour Pot carries flavors that spark joy, textures that comfort, and stories that feel familiar yet elevated.

This Holiday season, Flour Pot warmly opens its doors to the public at the heart of Bonifacio Global City, ready to welcome guests into a space built around everyday connection. Designed as a cozy, easygoing spot for real moments, Flour Pot is all about food that’s made with care and meant to be shared.

HONORING PRODUCE, UPLIFTING FARMERS

Flour Pot is a culinary philosophy conceptualized by Chef Rhea that is fundamentally rooted in profound respect for local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients. Chef Rhea believes that truly meaningful food is defined not by complexity, but by the meticulous care and intention invested in its creation. This philosophy is realized through thoughtful, ethical sourcing from small-scale producers, a focus on the inherent excellence of high-quality ingredients, the use of refined techniques to enhance natural flavors, and the cultivation of deep, supportive relationships with local farmers and artisans. In essence, Flour Pot is an edible celebration of simplicity, care, and connection.

Flour Pot incorporates locally sourced fruits and seasonal produce whenever possible. By building strong relationships with Filipino farmers and small-scale suppliers, Chef Rhea ensures that the brand contributes to a more responsible food ecosystem, one that values quality, sustainability, and livelihood.

The use of local ingredients is more than a culinary choice for Chef Rhea; it’s a purposeful stand for community and craft. It allows her to highlight the richness of local produce, minimize waste, and help strengthen the network of farmers and makers who play an essential but often unseen role in the food industry.

Through Flour Pot, Chef Rhea hopes to show that sustainability isn’t about grand gestures  but small, consistent choices rooted in care. When a cake uses local cacao, when a pastry features fruit from a nearby province, or when a dish uplifts a local producer’s work, the impact is real and purposeful.

“Our food tells the stories of the farmers who grow it. Supporting them by sourcing locally is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do at Flour Pot,” says Chef Rhea.

A FRESH TAKE ON THE BAKERY EXPERIENCE

Stepping into Flour Pot Bistro & Bakery feels like entering a warm, familiar space that blends modern comfort with subtle nods to the Filipino bakery culture many grew up with. The space stands out for its modern nod to bakery art: pastels, nostalgic accents, and warm details refreshed with a contemporary touch that complements Bonifacio Global City’s vibrant setting.

From first-time visitors to regulars who find their comfort favorites, Flour Pot hopes to become the kind of place people return to because it feels like home: easy, warm, and genuine. It is a special place where guests can slow down, savor thoughtfully prepared dishes and enjoy good company.

Enjoy some of Flour Pot’s specialty cakes and pastries, lovingly crafted to bring comfort in every bite, from the Carrot & Bourbon, a moist carrot and pili cake wrapped in burnt butter and bourbon-kissed cream cheese frosting, to Chocolate Expressions, a decadent celebration of single-origin local cacao in layers of cake, meringue, mousse, ganache, and buttercream. Rounding out the sweet offerings are the Strawberry Brioche Donuts, soft, airy, and filled with a bright burst of strawberry goodness.

For  savory dishes, Flour Pot also offers warm, hearty plates made to feel like home. Enjoy the Lambsagne, slow-roasted lamb shoulder nestled between creamy béchamel and lasagna; the River Prawns and Ikura Pasta, a comforting bowl of miso-butter tossed prawns with edamame and ikura; and the Roast Chicken Curry, featuring tender organic roast chicken enriched with signature curry sauce and sweet lychee for a gentle, uplifting finish.

Flour Pot Bistro and Bakery is located at Units 3 & 4 Verve Tower, 27th St. Corner 7th Avenue, BGC Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.  For more information, visit @flourpotph or www.store.flourpot.ph.
