A restaurant owned by the family of actor, TV host, and businessman Matteo Guidicelli was damaged after a vehicle accidentally crashed into its al fresco area on Sunday, February 8.

According to Guidicelli, the incident occurred at Da Gianni Cucina Italiana in Westgate Molito, Alabang. In a social media post, he said it was fortunate that no guests were hurt, as diners had already left the restaurant by around 1:30 p.m., leaving the outdoor dining area empty at the time of the accident.
Two staff members were inside the establishment near the pizza oven when the vehicle struck the al fresco section. They were immediately brought to the hospital for medical evaluation.
Guidicelli assured the public that the employees did not sustain serious injuries and are now safe and being taken care of.
Photos shared by the actor showed damage confined to the exterior portion of the restaurant. He clarified that indoor dining remains open, while the al fresco area has been temporarily closed to allow for safety checks and necessary repairs.
“This serves as a reminder to all of us! No matter where you are, always stay alert. ‘Watch your six!’ Awareness and prevention are essential. You never know what situation you might find yourself in, so be careful, be ready, and always be aware,” Guidicelli wrote.
He also expressed gratitude for what he described as divine protection during the incident.
“Above all, we thank the Lord. He truly kept my team safe today. By His grace, we are protected, healthy, and able to move forward. To God be the glory,” he added.
Guidicelli ended his message by thanking those who sent prayers and messages of concern, while reminding everyone to stay cautious and safe. He did not disclose further details about the driver involved or whether any legal action would be pursued.
Da Gianni Cucina Italiana, which opened in 2018, was previously described by Guidicelli as a tribute to his late grandfather, who hailed from northern Italy.
