Actress Janine Gutierrez has firmly denied rumors circulating online that she is pregnant.
Speculation about the Kapamilya actress began in January after a blind item posted on Reddit asked whether a Filipina actress was expecting a child. Some netizens quickly mentioned Gutierrez’s name, fueling online discussions and gossip.
The rumors intensified after several online posts and articles claimed that the actress was allegedly pregnant, with her boyfriend, award-winning actor Jericho Rosales, being identified by some as the supposed father.
Gutierrez, however, addressed the issue directly through a brief but firm response on social media.
On March 9, a follower commented on one of her Instagram posts asking: “Sabi sa balita buntis daw si Ate Janine? Pero di naman siya mukhang buntis dito.”
The actress quickly shut down the claim with a straightforward reply: “FAKE NEWS!!!!!!”
With that response, Gutierrez clearly denied the circulating rumors about her alleged pregnancy.
Gutierrez and Rosales have been romantically linked since mid-2024. Their relationship reportedly began after they worked together in the Kapamilya series ‘Lavender Fields,’ where they portrayed a married couple alongside Jodi Sta. Maria.
Rosales later publicly confirmed their relationship on April 17, 2025, during a family gathering for the late singer Pilita Corrales, Gutierrez’s grandmother.
Speaking in front of the Gutierrez and Corrales families, Rosales introduced himself by saying, “I’m Janine’s boyfriend.”
