Asialink Finance Corporation has once again earned regional recognition at the 2026 Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards, securing three major honors that affirm its continued role in expanding access to capital for Filipino entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Asialink Finance Corporation received the awards for “Finance Company of the Year – Philippines,” “New SME Lending Product of the Year – Philippines,” and “SME Financial Inclusion Initiative of the Year – Philippines” at the 2026 Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards.

Held on July 2, 2026, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, the awards brought together leading banking and finance institutions across Asia to recognize organizations that have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and impact in the financial services industry.

This year, Asialink was named “Finance Company of the Year – Philippines,” marking its third win in the category. The company also received “New SME Lending Product of the Year – Philippines” for its Women’s Access to Inclusive Support (WAIS) Loan and was recognized as “SME Financial Inclusion Initiative of the Year – Philippines,” for the fourth consecutive year. Representing the company during the awarding ceremony were Board of Director Ruben Lorenzo Lugtu V, President and CEO Anna Katrina Bañez, and Truck Loan General Manager Rufino Gomez Jr.

“Receiving these awards is a meaningful affirmation of the work we do every day to bring financing closer to more Filipinos,” said Anna Katrina Bañez, President and CEO of Asialink Finance Corporation. “These recognitions reflect our sustained efforts to address financing gaps faced by MSMEs, particularly those in underserved and provincial communities. For Asialink, growth is not only measured by the number of branches we open or the products we launch. It is measured by the opportunities we help create for MSMEs, families, and communities across the country.”

The recognition for “New SME Lending Product of the Year – Philippines” underscores Asialink’s commitment to developing financing solutions that respond to the evolving needs of Filipino businesses. Its WAIS Loan was developed to help address financing gaps faced by women entrepreneurs, particularly those who remain underserved by traditional credit channels. As of April 2026, WAIS has served over 6,000 women MSMEs and reached a total of ₱3 billion in disbursements, demonstrating how Asialink translates inclusive finance into measurable support for Filipino entrepreneurs.

Building on this product innovation, AFC also launched its Medium Enterprise Loan in June 2026, offering eligible enterprises loan amounts of up to ₱100 million and flexible repayment terms of up to seven years. The program supports business expansion, working capital, and other strategic growth requirements, strengthening Asialink’s ability to serve enterprises at different stages of growth.

At the same time, Asialink’s fourth consecutive win for “SME Financial Inclusion Initiative of the Year – Philippines” is backed by measurable progress in expanding access to financing nationwide. Since its establishment in 1997, the company has steadily expanded its nationwide presence, operating over 255 branches as of March 2026. From January 2024 to April 2026, Asialink served more than 47,000 MSMEs and clients, representing a 35% increase over the period. This growth is further reflected in ₱37 billion in cumulative loan releases nationwide, reinforcing the company’s commitment to making financing more accessible to Filipino entrepreneurs.

“These awards remind us that inclusive finance must remain intentional,” Bañez added. “We will continue to innovate, build partnerships, and strengthen our presence nationwide so that more Filipino entrepreneurs can access the capital they need to move their businesses forward.”

Asialink’s latest wins at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards further solidify its position as one of the country’s leading financing companies and a trusted partner of MSMEs. With a clear focus on accessibility, innovation, and inclusive growth, the company remains committed to empowering more Filipinos through financial solutions that support livelihood, enterprise development, and long-term economic progress.
