Royal Caribbean is extending Navigator of the Seas’ Singapore season through October 2027, giving vacationers across Asia more time to experience one of the world’s boldest vacations from Singapore. Building on the ship’s inaugural season in Asia, Navigator will now call the region home year-round, giving families and friends more opportunities than ever to discover Southeast Asia on unforgettable getaways which will open for bookings on Royal Caribbean’s website starting 19 August.

Beginning in October 2026, Navigator will offer a year-round lineup of 2- to 5-night getaways to some of Southeast Asia’s most sought-after destinations in Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand, along with an immersive 12-night sailing from Tokyo to Singapore. The extended Singapore season includes short escapes to Penang and Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang) in Malaysia, as well as Phuket, Thailand.

“We’re excited to give vacationers even more opportunities to experience Navigator of the Seas from Singapore,” said Ben Bouldin, President of Greater China and Managing Director Asia, Royal Caribbean. “From long weekend escapes to memorable family vacations, travellers can now enjoy a full year of adventures from one of Asia’s most ideal cruise gateways. With thrilling activities, world-class entertainment and dining onboard, Navigator of the Seas delivers the ultimate action-packed holiday in Southeast Asia.”

With convenient air connectivity from major cities across Asia and beyond, Singapore continues to serve as one of the region’s leading fly-cruise hubs, providing an ideal gateway for vacationers exploring the region with Royal Caribbean.

“Royal Caribbean’s decision to extend Navigator of the Seas from a six-month seasonal deployment to a year-round homeport, reflects their continued confidence in Singapore as a leading cruise hub in Asia,” said Chitra Rajesh Kumar, Director, Cruise, Singapore Tourism Board. “The extension is testament to Singapore’s long-standing partnership with Royal Caribbean and offers visitors opportunities to discover Singapore’s vibrant city experiences and explore the rich diversity of Southeast Asia, all within the same cruise holiday.”

Navigator of the Seas delivers unforgettable experiences designed for every type of vacationer from thrills to ways to unwind. Families with younger children can enjoy Splashaway Bay kids’ aquapark, while thrill-seekers can take on The Blaster, the longest waterslide at sea, and Riptide, the headfirst mat racer or put their teamwork to the test at Royal Escape Room: The Observatorium and glow-in-the-dark laser tag. When it’s time to unwind, guests can relax on the Caribbean-inspired pool deck with tropical cocktails at The Lime & Coconut, enjoy original productions at the Royal Theater and ice-skating shows at Studio B, and savour everything from seafood at Hooked Seafood and fresh Mexican favourites at El Loco Fresh to handcrafted tiki-inspired cocktails at The Bamboo Room.

Asia Pacific prepares for its biggest season yet

The 2027-2028 season also sees Royal Caribbean bringing three fan-favourite ships Down Under marking its biggest Australian summer yet. Headlining the expanded lineup is the newly amplified Ovation of the Seas, sailing from Brisbane, alongside Voyager of the Seas, while Anthem of the Seas returns to Sydney.

From January to April, Voyager of the Seas will make Asia its home, sailing from Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo with all-new adventures across Asia Pacific. Guests can relax on a 5-night sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong or choose from seven 4- and 5-night roundtrip getaways from Hong Kong to ring in the Chinese New Year in style, with sailings to Ishigaki and Okinawa, Japan, including select overnight stays that offer more time discovering the island’s raw natural beauty.

Additional Hong Kong holidays visit the bustling city of Taipei, Taiwan, and Hue/Danang (Chan May), Vietnam. Beginning in late February, holidays from Tokyo coincide with Japan’s iconic cherry blossom season, offering guests a front-row seat to one of the world’s most breathtaking natural displays. Vacationers can choose from four immersive 10- to 12-night adventures that combine the beauty of the season with unforgettable discoveries across Japan including the cityscapes of Osaka, Nagasaki plus awe-inspiring mountain views in Kobe and Mt Fuji (Shimizu).

Bookings for the extended Singapore season are open from 19 August, with Voyager of the Seas Asia-Pacific sailings on sale from August 26. For more information, vacationers can visit Royal Caribbean’s website.
